Chandramaya Gurung is the Chairperson of Ajirkot Rural Municipality, Gorkha. She wanted to work for society and women empowerment from a young age and now that she is finally in the right position, she makes the most out of it. Ever since the lockdown began, she has been proactive about informing her people. The rural municipality she leads also sent nine vehicles to receive its people from Kathmandu. Once they returned the people were kept in quarantines facilitated with food, bedding, and the essential things required for women were organized by her rural municipality.
