On Wednesday, March 12, AEIN – Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Népal hosted its first charity yoga event at ING Luxembourg, bringing together supporters for a meaningful cause: combating gender-based violence through sports and empowerment initiatives.

This event supported our GOAL – Kicking Gender Stereotypes, Defending Rights project, implemented in partnership with Saathi Nepal. The initiative empowers schoolgirls through football, martial arts training, and awareness workshops, equipping them with the confidence and skills to challenge gender-based violence and discrimination.

The following day, Thursday, March 13, AEIN had the opportunity to present its mission and projects in the auditorium of ING as part of their Nepal Day, organized during their Sustainability Week. Attendees viewed a video highlighting our GOAL project and engaged in discussions on the importance of gender equality and empowerment. Throughout the event, a sales stand offered handcrafted products from Nepal, and ING supported the initiative further by featuring a special Nepalese menu in their canteen.

We extend our sincere gratitude to ING Luxembourg, Yoga Home Studio, and everyone who participated and contributed to making these events a success. Together, we are working towards a future where girls and women can live free from violence and discrimination.
